Strategic Fields: Is Your Major Eligible?

The Harvey Fellows Program specifically targets fields that are underrepresented by Christians. Your application must demonstrate that your vocation allows you to influence society.

• Priority Fields: Business, Economics, Finance, International Diplomacy, Journalism/Media, Film Production, Public Policy, Applied/Theoretical Sciences, University Teaching/Research (at premier secular institutions).
• Non-Priority Fields (Usually Not Funded): Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Education (K-12), Homemaking, Farming, or positions within religious organizations/churches.

Eligibility Criteria

This fellowship is highly competitive. To qualify, you must meet the following strict requirements:

• Faith: You must demonstrate a personal faith in Jesus Christ and affirm the Lausanne Covenant.
• Enrollment: You must be enrolled in or have applied to a full-time graduate program (Master’s or PhD). Part-time or non-degree students are not eligible.
• Institution Quality: You must be attending a "premier university"—typically ranked in the top 5 globally for your specific discipline.
• Citizenship: There are no citizenship requirements; international students may apply.

Application Requirements

The application is extensive and focuses heavily on your vocational vision and faith integration. You will need:

1. Vocational Goal Statement: A summary of your professional goals.
2. Five (5) Essays: Covering topics like Faith, Vocational Goals, Impact, Leadership, and your Degree Program.
3. Work Sample: A significant piece of academic or professional work.
4. Test Scores: GRE, LSAT, or GMAT scores (if required by your program).
5. Four (4) Recommendations:
