Call for Applications: Mercedes-Benz Seeks 1,000 Young Innovators for Environmental Fellowship

Are you a young innovator aged 16 to 28? Do you have an idea to solve an environmental problem but lack the funds or training to start? beVisioneers: The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship has officially opened applications for its next cohort, starting in May 2026.

Funded by Mercedes-Benz and implemented by The DO School, this program is looking for 1,000 ambitious Fellows. The fellowship offers a 12-month intensive training program, mentoring, and the chance to access project scholarships of up to €20,000. You do not need prior entrepreneurial experience—just a passion for the planet.

Fellowship Overview & Key Details

What Does the Fellowship Offer?

This is a multi-year journey designed to turn your eco-friendly idea into reality. Training: You will receive 12 months of intensive innovation training (minimum 24 hours/month commitment) through online modules and local hub gatherings. Mentorship: You get regular access to venture coaches and 1:1 mentoring from experts. Funding: At the end of the first year, fellows can apply for project scholarships worth up to €20,000 to scale their initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria

The program is inclusive and looks for potential rather than a perfect resume. To apply, you must meet these simple requirements:

• Age: You must be between 16 and 28 years old.
• Residency: You must reside in one of the participating countries for the duration of the fellowship.
• Language: Good oral and written command of English is required.
• Idea: You must have a concrete idea or passion to address a specific environmental problem.
• Experience: No previous entrepreneurial experience is needed.

How to Apply (3-Step Process)

The application takes about 30-40 minutes. Here is what you need to do:

1. Written Application: Provide your basic details and describe the environmental challenge you want to tackle. You will also complete a Self-Assessment Test.
2. Video Interview: You must record a 3-minute video explaining your idea. Applications without this video will not be considered.
3. Financial Support (Optional): If you need financial assistance to participate, you can apply for support by providing an income declaration and a reference letter.
